The cable television channel CNN has a fantastic group of articles and visuals on Global Warming. There is a wealth of information about what is happening to our planet and interviews with people in various spots the world over. Being easy to view and learn, it is a very enlightening source for Global Warming/Climate Change (GW/CC) information. As an example, there is an interview of a resident of the Carteret Islands, which are located in the South Pacific. The man explains how their people are victims of GW/CC and he makes a plea to the major industrial nations in the world to change their busy-as-usual, as the rising ocean is causing their island to disappear. As you can imagine he is very passionate about the issue. Please visit the Planet in Peril section of the CNN website: http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2007/planet.in.peril/ and click on the many links provided for additional information and the interviews.

Once on the CNN website and to hear the island resident, look in the middle of the main Planet in Peril webpage where there are several items that keep replacing each other, click on the briefly displayed Carteret Islands item to hear the man’s interview.

If possible, please view the CNN presentation of Planet in Peril to be televised in America on Tuesday October 23rd and Wednesday October 24th at 9pm Eastern Time. Please check your television listing for locations outside of the U.S.
